Privacy policy

What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 29 July 2026.

This policy explains how Interbiz Business Setup Services LLC ("Interbiz", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through https://interbiz.ae and in the course of providing corporate services. We process personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where applicable to our clients, the data protection regimes of the DIFC and ADGM.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Interbiz Business Setup Services LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at omar@interbiz.ae, by telephone on +971 58 527 3568, or in writing at Icework Offices, 16th Floor, Bayswater By Omniyat, Marasi Drive, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

2. What we collect

  • Enquiry data — name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, nationality, the service you are asking about, your indicated timeline and anything you write in the message field.
  • Engagement data — where you become a client, the identity and corporate documents required by UAE licensing, immigration, banking and anti-money-laundering rules. This can include passport copies, Emirates ID, proof of address, source-of-funds evidence, shareholding structures and financial records.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser user agent and the page you submitted a form from. This is recorded with enquiries for security and anti-spam purposes.

Our cost calculator runs entirely in your browser. You can use it without submitting any personal data at all; we only receive your details if you choose to have the breakdown emailed to you.

3. Why we process it

  • To answer your enquiry and provide a quotation you asked for.
  • To perform the services set out in an engagement letter, including submissions to government authorities, free zone regulators, banks and the Federal Tax Authority on your behalf and with your instruction.
  • To comply with legal obligations, in particular UAE anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist financing, Ultimate Beneficial Ownership, tax and record-keeping requirements.
  • To protect our systems from abuse, spam and fraudulent submissions.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is necessary to deliver what you have asked for or where the law requires it. That can include the relevant licensing authority or free zone, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, immigration authorities (GDRFA / ICP), the Federal Tax Authority, notaries and translators, banks you have asked us to approach, and our professional advisers or auditors.

We do not sell, rent or broker enquiry data. We do not pass your details to free zones, banks or third-party lead buyers for marketing purposes.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers, such as email and cloud accounting platforms, process data outside the UAE. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure an adequate level of protection through contractual safeguards with those providers.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become engagements — retained for up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Client records — retained for a minimum of five years after the end of the relationship, because UAE accounting, tax and anti-money-laundering rules require it. Certain corporate records are retained for longer where the law specifies.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exemptions in the applicable law, you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is inaccurate, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it to another provider. You may also object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Some rights are limited where we must retain records to meet a legal obligation — for example, we cannot delete anti-money-laundering records during the statutory retention period. Send any request to omar@interbiz.ae and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website uses a single session cookie, set by our server, which exists to protect forms against cross-site request forgery and to rate-limit submissions. It contains no marketing identifier and expires when you close your browser. We self-host our fonts and stylesheets, so loading a page on this site does not send a request to a third-party advertising network.

9. Security

The site is served over TLS. Enquiry data is stored with access restricted to advisers who need it. Client identity documents are held in access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not ask you to send sensitive identity documents by unencrypted email and we will always offer a secure alternative.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our processing changes or when the law does. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

11. Complaints

If you believe we have handled your personal data improperly, please contact us first at omar@interbiz.ae so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UAE Data Office or, where the relevant regime applies, to the DIFC or ADGM data protection regulator.
